The Australian dollar came under renewed pressure during the American afternoon after failing to regain the 0.9700 mark, and fell to fresh daily lows in recent dealings.

AUD/USD extended losses to the 0.9630 area before finding support and it is currently trading around 0.9645, still down 1.0% on the day.

In terms of technical levels, next supports are seen 0.9630 (daily low) and 0.9590 (low May 24), while resistances could be faced at 0.9700 (intraday resistance/psychological level) and 0.9735 (100-hour SMA). – FXstreet.com (Córdoba)
